Basilisk Mecha - Silica

The Starfall Mechas originated as eggs that came from a meteor that fell late one night. Spotting the meteor falling, Christine came out with Matthew, Finn, and Donna into the forest to find it. What they found instead were four eggs. The eggs reacted with their stars and absorbed their powers, leaving them without their power. However, the eggs hatched and became baby mechas. They were young, but could be used as weapons/shields to protect their rangers while they used their star power to mature. However, along with absorbing their star power they also gained the karmas their rangers had. Once they are fully grown, they give back the star power, allowing them to become rangers again.

As a young snake, Silica is the most affected by karma. It is absent minded and has the memory of a guppy. Though it knows how to float and has hightened senses, it tends to forget it can and stumble. Finn tends to get annoyed by Silica's clumsyness, but has a habit of babying it to keep it from getting hurt. It can spin itself unto a shield to block and reflect attacks. Finn tends to bring Silica with him to the day care he works in and lets it play with the children. The parents think its a toy and his employer knows to keep it a secret, so its no problem.

When Finn and Silica was coming home, they were attacked and chased to a cliff. While trying to fight back, Finn fell and Silsica dove downafter him to try to save him. He caught him, but couldn't carry him, so he quickly grew to be able to carry Finn.

Silica becomes over 90 feet long. It has the ability to reflect and vblock attacks. It's venom can kill or petrify its oponent. Its stare can also petrify its opponents and cause hallucinations. Both it and Donna's mecha can fly, at least float in Silica's case.
